Job description
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join a forward-thinking school in Solihull. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about technology and committed to helping students thrive in the rapidly evolving digital world. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Computer Science and the ability to teach from KS3 to KS5 . You will inspire and engage students, helping them develop essential skills in programming, data analysis, and computational thinking. This is an exciting role for both experienced Computer Science Teachers and ECTs (Early Career Teachers), as well as overseas candidates with a formal teaching qualification and QTS . Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in Computer Science from KS3 to KS5 . Foster a love of learning and encourage students to reach their full potential. Be a positive role model for students, promoting an ethos of respect, responsibility, and hard work. Collaborate with the department to continue to innovate and improve teaching and learning practices. Support extracurricular activities related to Computer Science, such as coding clubs or tech competitions. Qualifications Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a formal teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE). Strong knowledge and passion for Computer Science . Ability to teach KS3 and KS5 students.
