Pertemps are currently recruiting for an FLT driver to join a well-established recycling and waste management company in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FLT driver looking for a long-term position within a busy and safety-focused environment.

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an FLT driver to join a well-established recycling and waste management company in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FLT driver looking for a long-term position within a busy and safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate an electric-powered Counterbalance FLT with clamp and fork attachments.
- Load, unload and move materials safely throughout the site.
- Operate a wheeled loading shovel to transport recyclable materials and feed the recycling process.
- Manage traffic flow within the infeed hall while maintaining a safe working environment.
- Operate both single and twin RAM balers to produce bales ready for storage and dispatch.
- Carry out routine housekeeping and cleaning duties within the outfeed hall.
- Complete daily equipment checks and report any defects.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures and environmental regulations.
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the recycling operation.
- Experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck and Loading Shovel.
- A valid UK driving licence.
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- A flexible and reliable approach to work.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Full-time, ongoing work.
