Job description
We are seeking an inspirational and dedicated Business Teacher to join our dynamic educational community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for business studies, a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment, and a drive to help students achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring business lessons to students at KS4 and KS5. Develop and implement a curriculum that meets national standards, encourages critical thinking, and provides real-world applications of business principles. Assess and evaluate student progress through both formative and summative assessments. Provide constructive feedback to students, supporting their development and helping them build strong business skills. Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and independent thought. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, contribute to departmental goals, and engage in professional development opportunities. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of student progress and school events. Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Business, Business Education, or a related field. A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). Proven experience teaching business at secondary school level is preferred. Strong knowledge of business theory and practice, as well as the ability to teach at both KS4 and KS5 levels. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students to engage with business subjects and apply learning to real-life situations. Skills and Attributes: Passionate about teaching and dedicated to student success. Innovative and creative in lesson planning and delivery. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the students and school. Proficient in using technology to enhance teaching and student learning.
