Job description
Music Teacher – Lambeth – Shape the Soundtrack of Tomorrow An Outstanding secondary school in Lambeth is looking for more than just a Music Teacher . They're looking for someone to inspire a lifelong love of music, to nurture talent, and to help students find their voice. This is your chance to make a real difference. Your Symphony of Responsibilities: This full-time, permanent Music Teacher role (paid on the MPS/UPS scale) will involve: Leading engaging and dynamic Music lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5. Developing students' practical skills in instrumental performance (and/or vocal performance). Teaching music theory, history, and appreciation across a range of genres. Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom where all students can explore their musical potential. Contributing to extracurricular music activities (choirs, ensembles, bands – highly desirable ). Teaching in an Outstanding School. The Melody of Your Skills: The ideal Music Teacher will have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). A degree in Music or a related field. Proven experience teaching Music at the secondary level. Proficiency in at least one instrument or voice. Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
