Job description
DT Teacher – Outstanding School Are you currently looking for an DT Teacher role within an exciting environment where you will be supported and treated like a valuable member of staff? Are you an enthusiastic, passionate, and motivated teacher looking to work in an Outstanding School in Nottingham as an DT Teacher? You will be joining a dynamic DT department where you will be able to teach to KS3/4. This position would suit either an ECT DT Teacher or a more experienced DT Teacher seeking an opportunity for professional development. DT Teacher Role Full-time position Teaching DT to KS3/4 Nottingham Starting in September London MPS1 – UPS3 Salary School Information This is a successful, high-attaining 11-18 mixed comprehensive school with 1250 students located in Nottingham. The school has an excellent reputation locally and in the wider community for academic achievement and the quality of its pastoral care and support. They have a comprehensive intake which reflects the diversity of the local community. In the most recent Ofsted inspection, the school was judged to be Outstanding in all areas. A feature of the inspection report was the inclusive nature of the school and the sense of community felt by staff and students. Inspectors commented that staff were overwhelmingly positive about the support they receive from leaders and how friendly and welcoming the school is for staff. Experience and Qualifications Required for this DT Teacher Position Relevant Degree PGCE or QTS DT Teacher experience, up to A Level desirable Salary The salary for this DT Teacher position will be paid to scale on a permanent contract to scale MPS/UPS.
