Job description
Music Teacher – Outstanding School Are you currently looking for an Music Teacher role within an exciting environment where you will be supported and treated like a valuable member of staff? Are you an enthusiastic, passionate, and motivated teacher looking to work in an Outstanding School in Nottingham as an Music Teacher? You will be joining a dynamic Music department where you will be able to teach to KS3/4. This position would suit either an ECT Music Teacher or a more experienced Music Teacher seeking an opportunity for professional development. Music Teacher Role Full-time position Teaching to KS3/4 Nottingham Starting in September London MPS1 – UPS3 Salary School Information This is a successful, high-attaining 11-18 mixed comprehensive school with 1250 students located in Nottingham. The school has an excellent reputation locally and in the wider community for academic achievement and the quality of its pastoral care and support. They have a comprehensive intake which reflects the diversity of the local community. In the most recent Ofsted inspection, the school was judged to be Outstanding in all areas. A feature of the inspection report was the inclusive nature of the school and the sense of community felt by staff and students. Inspectors commented that staff were overwhelmingly positive about the support they receive from leaders and how friendly and welcoming the school is for staff. The needs of their students are paramount and this is recognised by all staff, who have a common view that only the best is good enough. They have a commitment to sharing good practice in developing leaders, teachers, and support staff. Experience and Qualifications Required for this Music Teacher Position Degree in Music PGCE or QTS Music Teacher, teaching to GCSE Salary The salary for this Music Teacher position will be paid to scale on a permanent contract to scale MPS/UPS.
