- Assistant Food and Beverage Manager - Harrogate* Crowne Plaza Harrogate is looking for an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to take day-to-day ownership of the hotel's F&B outlets - restaurant, bar and room service - with real accountability for cost control, forecasting and standards. *The Role* * Manage the daily running of the food and beverage outlets, ensuring service standards are consistently met across restaurant, bar and room service * Plan, organise and direct the F&B operation, including administration, marketing and promotion of the outlets * Take responsibility and accountability for outlet profitability and revenue generation * Implement and maintain control measures so that F&B costs, labour costs, productivity and operating supply costs stay in line with budget * Prepare weekly and monthly forecasts for restaurant, bar and room service * Carry out Duty Management shifts according to business needs * Participate in departmental meetings to review progress against business plan goals * Maintain a strong working knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety procedures * Keep clear, regular communication with the Food and Beverage Manager, Head Chef, Conference and Events Manager and Operations Manager We're looking for a strong leader with good interpersonal and training skills, someone service-oriented with an eye for detail, and a motivator who gets the best out of a team. *Working Hours* We operate 7 days a week, 365 days a year, so this role involves a range of shifts and days, with more demand generally during evenings and weekends.
