The care home offers elegant accommodation for up to 80-residents along with outstanding Residential, Dementia, Nursing & Respite care. *Housekeeper Contract* * 12.71 per hour * Contracted to Full time & Part time hours per week * Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided * 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) *Role Overview* As Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment while also supporting laundry services.
This is a varied, hands on role where your attention to detail and high standards will directly impact comfort, dignity and daily wellbeing. You will be responsible for cleaning residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and presentation.
Alongside this, you will support laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing and returning clothing correctly, ensuring all items are clearly labelled and handled with care. Working closely with the wider team, you will follow infection control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures, ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently.
