Job Description

What you'll do

As a Waking Night Care Assistant, you'll provide essential overnight support to people in their own homes, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and independent throughout the night.

You'll:

  • Provide personal care with dignity and respect during overnight visits.
  • Support with medication, mobility, and repositioning where required.
  • Monitor wellbeing and respond calmly to any overnight needs.
  • Offer reassurance and companionship to help people feel safe and secure.
  • Complete light household tasks where appropriate to maintain a safe environment.
  • Be a trusted part of a close-knit, local team delivering high-quality overnight care.


Qualifications

No experience? No problem. Whether you're starting your career or bringing previous care experience, what matters most is your compassion and commitment.

  • Reliable, trustworthy, and comfortable working independently at night.
  • Calm under pressure with a positive attitude.
