Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and inspiring Year 1 Teacher to join a friendly and ambitious primary school in Watford. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about supporting children as they transition from the EYFS into Key Stage 1.

The successful candidate will create engaging learning experiences that build confidence, develop key literacy and numeracy skills, and encourage every child to reach their full potential.

The Role

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum.
• Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Assess, monitor and support pupil progress effectively.
• Work closely with colleagues, teaching assistants and parents to ensure excellent outcomes.
• Inspire children through creative and engaging teaching.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (ECTs welcome to apply).
• Strong knowledge of the Year 1 curriculum and phonics.
• Excellent behaviour management and organisational skills.
• A positive, enthusiastic and child-centred approach to teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
