Role Overview
As a Project Engineer at Huntsman, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engineering projects and supporting strategic investments at our Duxford site. Working closely with the Engineering & Maintenance team, you will ensure compliance with process safety standards, regulatory requirements, and Huntsman’s corporate CAPEX program. This is a dynamic position where you will contribute to continuous improvement, reliability, and innovation across site operations.

Role Responsibilities
Act as theresponsible Project Engineerfor the site, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements andmaintainingengineering standards.
Deliver site engineering systems that support EHS compliance.
Contribute tostrategic investment planning and provide project support for CAPEX and smallprojectswithin budget.
Collaborate on preventive maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
Plan and cost site-managed projects, ensuringtimelysubmission of documentation for approvals.
Maintain site drawings and technicalinformation, andprovide updates on analytics and automation tools.
Support projects to ensure delivery on time, in full, and aligned with corporate engineering requirements.
Drive EHS improvements and contribute to Huntsman’s Zero Harmobjectives.
Experience and Competencies
Degree, HND, or HNC in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Chemical).
Experience in the chemical sector (pharma or biochemicalormanufacturingconsidered).
Strong background in engineering functions and project support.
Knowledge of regulatory and statutory engineering requirements.
ProficiencyinMS Office(Microsoft Projects), AutoCAD, and data intelligence solutions.
Knowledge ofSAP is nice to have
Familiarity with LEAN tools (VSM, SMED, Kaizen) and continuous improvement.
