Teaching Assistant
Teaching Personnel are looking for caring, reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in the Shepton Mallet area.
Whether you're looking for ad-hoc supply, short-term or long-term work, we can offer regular opportunities to suit your availability.
The Role
You could be supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2, either 1:1 or in small groups, helping children to engage with their learning and develop their confidence.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working with children
- Is comfortable supporting children 1:1 and in small groups
- Has a good understanding of SEN and behaviour
- Is patient, approachable and adaptable
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
What We Can Offer:
- £90–£95 per day, depending on experience

Requirements:
You will need an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one through Teaching Personnel. Full safeguarding and compliance checks will be completed as part of the registration process.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
