We therefore seek a forward-thinking, analytically sound individual who also showcases the same values that the company strives for.

Ready for a career at PG Paper? We have a new, exciting opportunity for a Compliance Officer to work within our team based in Greenock.

About the Role

We’re seeking a Commercial Project Coordinator to join our team in Greenock. This is a varied and hands‑on role – ideal for someone who’s naturally organised, thrives on structure, and takes pride in seeing projects through from start to finish.

You’ll play a key role supporting the Commercial Team with project administration, certification management and business compliance – ensuring that important processes run smoothly and efficiently.

From maintaining supplier due diligence to coordinating certifications such as FSC, PEFC and EUDR, and you’ll help keep our operations running to the highest standards. You’ll also assist with wider commercial and sustainability projects, providing valuable administrative and reporting support across departments.

Who You Are

You’re a detail‑focused, dependable professional who loves creating order out of complexity. Whether managing documentation, scheduling tasks, or tracking deadlines, you keep things moving and people informed.

You’re confident with systems and processes, comfortable communicating across teams, and motivated by a role that combines structure, problem‑solving and purpose.

This position would suit someone with experience in administration, planning, compliance support, supply chain coordination, or project assistance – someone who’s ready to take the next step into a more involved and rewarding commercial role.

Why This Role Matters – Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage commercial and compliance projects from planning through to completion.
  • Provide administrative and project support to the Commercial Team.
  • Maintain and manage documentation for key certifications (FSC, PEFC, EUDR, BIS, BRCGS), including renewals and audits.
  • Support supplier due diligence and ensure all regulatory information is accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain organised filing systems, trackers and project documentation.
  • Prepare reports, summaries and progress updates for management review.
  • Liaise with suppliers, partners and internal departments to support smooth project delivery.
  • Assist with environmental and sustainability projects, including carbon reporting and Net Zero planning.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Previous experience in administration, compliance, or project coordination.
  • Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident managing multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Experience with documentation, certification, or audit preparation preferred.
  • Analytical and data‑literate, comfortable working with spreadsheets and reports.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and digital tools.
  • Self‑motivated, dependable, and proactive.
  • Genuine interest in sustainability and responsible business practices.

How to Apply

Apply for this position by sending us your CV and a brief cover letter telling us what unique skill or quality you would bring to this role – and why you think you’d be the perfect fit.

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an initial call, followed by video or in‑person interviews.
