It’s a space designed not just for excellent clinical standards, but for people who love what they do.As Head RVN, you’ll take the lead in driving clinical excellence and inspiring the team around you. You’ll oversee and support our RVNs, SVNs, and VCAs, champion nurse-led clinics, and work closely with our vets to ensure seamless patient care. In this role you will:* Provide clinical leadership to the nursing team.* Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.* Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity.* Lead, manage and promote nurse led appointments and Schedule 3 surgeries.* Deliver patient monitoring and care.* Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.* Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care.* Dispense and check medication.* Deliver professional excellence, implementing and complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.* Inspire your team, sharing new or evolving practice standards and changes to processes.* Engage, coach and develop your team.* Pro-actively support and share clinical best practice across practices and the wider Medivet community.**Your Skills and Experience*** RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.* Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.* Able to confidently lead a clinical team.* Experience of implementing a progressive clinical culture through nurse clinics and nurse consultations.* Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.Medivet is a leading veterinary care provider, with practices across the UK including a number of 24-hour veterinary centres and referral centres.
