Senior DevOps Engineer - Cheltenham
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who will join one of our small, fast-paced, agile delivery teams; using agile methodology and DevOps techniques to build backend systems, data processing pipelines, and progressive web apps for customers in the UK Government and Defence sector.
Our Engineers take a leading role in the delivery team, from looking after the more complex tasks through to managing relationships with our customers and taking accountability for delivering projects to agreed timelines. This will include ensuring the team are comfortable with their tasks and holding a broader oversight for what everyone within their team is responsible for. You will oversee and play a leading role in the full project lifecycle including project concept formalisation; requirements analysis and specification; architecture design; solution implementation and delivery.
You will be using your broad experience across a range of technical tools, languages and methodologies to implement high quality solutions and create innovative and effecting solutions.
These will include: Gitlab, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Packer, Vault, Serverless, Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Artifactory & Nexus
This role requires current high level Security Clearance (eDV)
