Locum Scrub Nurse - Orthopaedics | Glasgow

Are you a dedicated Scrub Nurse with experience in orthopaedics? Medacs Healthcare is offering an exciting locum opportunity in Glasgow.
\n
Pay: £270-£360 per day
Shifts: Monday to Friday
Location: QEUH - Glasgow
Weekly Pay: Fast, reliable weekly payments
\n

\nKey Responsibilities:\n
\n - Monitor and maintain a safe and sterile environment for the patient throughout the surgical procedure.
\n - Safely identify, prepare, check, and assemble equipment required for the relevant operating list.
\n - Prepare and organise the clinical area to receive patients for elective, emergency, and trauma procedures.
\n - Coordinate and maintain adequate stock levels of drugs, stores, and implants, liaising with the Theatre Manager and Procurement.
\n - Actively support patients and their families, communicating clinical information effectively.
\n - Demonstrate and develop clinical assessment skills, prioritising care for patients undergoing surgical/anaesthetic procedures.
\n - Contribute to the ongoing development of patient care within the operating theatres by sharing knowledge and expertise.
\n
\nEssential Qualifications:\n
\n - Must be able to scrub for Hips & Knees
\n - Current NMC/HCPC registration
\n - Minimum 1 year post-graduate experience
\n - At least 6 months recent UK experience within the last 3 years
\n
