The ideal candidate will be placed with our well-established client as a temporary worker, The Class 2 Driver will be placed on a temporary contract. Class 2 Driver - The Role: This role consists of multi-drop delivery work consisting of packaging distribution, normally two runs with an average of 8-10 drops per shift. The driver is responsible for transporting palletised packaging across England, there will be no handball duties, all deliveries will be unloaded by an FLT at delivery point. Drivers are responsible for ensuring safe loading and operation of the vehicle, undertaking vehicle checks to ensure safety and to prevent breakdowns and complying with driving regulations. This is a temporary position, and training will be provided on the job. The driver will need to be confident in completing vehicle checks and completing any required defects paperwork.
