We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Probation Officer to join our team in Croydon, London. As a Probation Officer, you will play a crucial role in the criminal justice system by working with individuals on probation to ensure their successful rehabilitation and reintegration into society. This position offers a competitive pay rate of £28.65 - £31.52 per hour and provides the flexibility to support a healthy work-life balance.\n

Responsibilities:\n

Case Management:\n
Oversee a caseload of individuals on probation, conducting regular assessments to monitor progress.Develop and implement individualised rehabilitation plans based on risk and needs assessments.\n
\n
Counselling and Support:\n
Provide counselling and support to individuals to address underlying issues contributing to criminal behaviour.Collaborate with external agencies and professionals to ensure comprehensive support for probationers.\n
\n
Monitoring and Compliance:\n
Monitor and enforce compliance with probation conditions.Conduct regular check-ins, drug testing, and home visits to ensure adherence to guidelines.\n
\n
Documentation and Reporting:\n
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.\n
\nPrepare detailed reports for court hearings and other relevant stakeholders.\n
\n
Community Engagement:\n
Establish and maintain positive relationships with community resources to facilitate successful reintegration.Organize and participate in community programs aimed at preventing recidivism.\n
\n
Crisis Intervention:\n
Respond promptly to crises and emergencies, providing appropriate interventions and referrals.\n
\n
