We are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time for our NHS client based in Shipley, Yorkshire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start.
What will your responsibilities be?
This role involves working within a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT), delivering high-quality psychiatric care to adult patients. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, formulating treatment plans, and providing clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team. The postholder will also participate in case reviews, clinical meetings, and ensure documentation meets NHS standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
• GMC registration (essential)
• Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status (essential)
• Experience in adult psychiatry, particularly within CMHT settings
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Commitment to delivering patient-centred care
