Care from the heart. Make a difference every day.

Looking for a care role where you have time to get to know the people you support?

At Belong at Home, we believe great care is built on genuine relationships. Our Home Care Assistants help people continue living independently and enjoying life in the comfort of their own homes. You might be helping someone get ready for the day, preparing a meal, providing personal care or simply spending time with someone who values a friendly face and a good conversation.

Whatever the visit involves, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference.

What will you be doing?

No two people are the same, which means no two days are the same.

You may be supporting clients with:

  • Personal care and daily routines
  • Preparing meals and drinks
  • Medication support
  • Light household tasks
  • Companionship and emotional support
  • Attending appointments or getting out into the community
  • Continuing hobbies and interests
  • Remaining active, confident and independent

Some of our clients enjoy gardening, music or reading. Others may appreciate help around the home or someone to sit with them and have a chat.

Your role is to support each person in the way that is right for them.

Our values

Everything we do is shaped by our values:

Stronger Together

We support one another and work as one team.

Be Your Best

We take pride in providing excellent care.

Respect Everyone

We treat every person with dignity, kindness and understanding.

Better Tomorrow

We keep learning, developing and looking for ways to improve.

Care from the Heart

We bring genuine warmth and compassion to every visit.

Requirements

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for people who want to make a real difference in the lives of the people they support.

  • Previous experience providing personal care, medication support, companionship support, or community-based care is welcomed.
  • Experience working independently in clients' homes and coordinating with the wider care team and management is welcomed.

Previous care experience is welcomed.

Essential requirements

To apply, you will need:

  • A full UK driving licence
  • Access to a car for community visits
  • The right to work in the UK

Benefits

  • 45p per mile mileage allowance
  • Paid travel time between visits
  • Guaranteed, confirmed shifts, helping you enjoy greater financial security
  • Regular rotas and flexible working options
  • Part-time day or night shifts
  • Enhanced pay for bank holidays
  • No short or rushed visits
  • A full, supportive induction
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
  • 24/7 on-call support
  • Supportive and approachable management
  • A company mobile phone with access to helpful apps and support
