Customer Experience Consultant

We are looking for a Customer Experience Consultant to join our team in Felixstowe, where you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience while supporting operational planning activities in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Working closely with customers, transport partners, and internal teams, you will manage time-critical activities, interpret operational data, and ensure effective coordination to deliver the best possible outcomes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver an exceptional customer experience by managing customer enquiries and supporting the end-to-end planning process.

Coordinate daily transport and planning activities, responding effectively to last-minute operational changes and customer requirements.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, transport providers, and internal stakeholders.

Participate in customer calls and act as a key point of contact for operational discussions.

Interpret and analyse operational data to support planning decisions and ensure service delivery.

Maintain accurate planning information and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.

Work collaboratively with multiple internal teams to resolve issues and deliver customer-focused solutions.

Prioritise competing tasks effectively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the customer experience.

Your Profile

You enjoy working in a customer-facing environment where no two days are the same. You thrive in a fast-paced setting, are comfortable managing changing priorities, and enjoy building strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike.

Ideally, you will have:

Experience in a customer service or customer-facing role.

Experience within logistics, transport, haulage, supply chain, or planning is advantageous but not essential.

Experience managing customer enquiries or escalations is desirable.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with operational data.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

Confidence working with data to support planning and operational decision-making.

The ability to communicate professionally with customers and internal stakeholders at all levels.
