OverviewHead Of Tech at ADLIB - B Corp Certified & Co-Founder of Green Tech South West - Ambassador at Motherboard. Solar PV or mechanical/electrical installation experience. They’re dedicated to accelerating the UK’s transition to clean energy, reducing customer costs and future-proofing their energy solutions. This role is onsite in the Bristol area and involves leading a project team across 1kW to 4.5MW installations.ResponsibilitiesLead installer responsible for installing solar panels on commercial properties in line with safety regulations and standards.Involved in all stages of installation projects, from inception to completion, including project planning, risk assessments, and method statements.Lead a team onsite to deliver high-quality installations and communicate effectively in a calm, professional manner.Assess locations for suitability, measure and mark installation areas, prepare surfaces, mount and install solar panels, maintain accurate records of work and materials, and test systems.Travel to sites as required and maintain flexibility around work hours.What skills you’ll be needingIdeally 5+ years’ experience in solar installation or a mechanical, electrical or construction installation role.Experience leading teams.Valid driver’s licence (required).Excellent time management and organisation skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.Ability to work flexible hours and travel when required.What you’ll get in return for your talentsOpportunity to join a growing, friendly and supportive team with a strong pipeline of projects aiding the UK’s transition to Net Zero.
