Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, 1 in 6 weekend day rota – but we are happy to discuss flexible options regarding hours and contracts too.
Ayres Veterinary Hospital in North Shields, Tyne & Wear, is looking for a passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our dynamic team. Ayres has its main site in North Shields, near Newcastle, and branch surgeries in Whitley Bay, Cramlington and Cleadon.
State‑of‑the‑art facilities: Our purpose‑built hospital opened in July 2024 and includes advanced imaging such as CT, plus 24‑hour patient care with overnight vet and nurse provision.

You’ll work alongside experienced vets managing a wide range of first‑opinion cases. If you’re keen to integrate into our night service (with TOIL), we can accommodate that too.
