Head of Technology Platforms

Location: London

Flexi Working – 2/3 days a week in the office

Paritas Recruitment Limited is proud to be partnering with a highly respected financial services firm to identify a Head of Technology Platforms, a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering strategic platform capabilities across the business. This is an exceptional opportunity for a visionary technology leader to drive operational excellence, innovation, and digital transformation in a dynamic, regulated environment.

About the Role

As Head of Technology Platforms, you will lead the development, management, and evolution of core technology platforms, principally Salesforce, nCino, and Mambu. You will be accountable for both operational stability and the strategic roadmap of these platforms, ensuring they support business growth, digital innovation, and user needs across the organisation.

Reporting directly to the CTO, this role combines technical oversight, stakeholder management, and supplier governance. You will be instrumental in enhancing platform capabilities, supporting change delivery, and driving value from investments across the technology estate.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end strategy, performance, and continuous improvement of Salesforce, nCino, and Mambu platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to define platform requirements and prioritise change based on value and impact.
• Maintain and own the technical backlog, driving delivery with internal and third-party teams.
• Manage daily operations including user management, platform configuration, performance monitoring, and system integrations.
• Champion a secure and scalable architecture aligned to best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee supplier relationships, ensure SLAs are met, and optimise platform investment and development pipeline.
• Ensure seamless integration with internal systems and third-party applications via APIs.
• Chair platform steering committees and ensure clear governance, documentation, and communication.
• Promote innovation and lead the adoption of new features that align with strategic goals.
• Mentor and lead a cross-functional team, fostering collaboration across technology and business units.

Core Experience & Skills:

• Proven leadership of Salesforce, nCino, and Mambu platforms within a regulated environment.
• Deep understanding of configuration, development, architecture, and platform management.
• Strong track record of delivering technical projects and managing change in complex environments.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and technical teams alike.
• Experience managing platform suppliers and internal delivery resources.
• Understanding of digital transformation principles in financial services.

Additional role exposure:

• Broader experience with UK financial services technologies.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement frameworks.
• Background in full stack development, systems integration, or database management.
