Front Engineer (Frontier AI) - £80,000 to £150,000.
Some people are built and build differently. In the case of this Y Combinator-backed AI company, their founders (pedigree engineers understates it) are building together, in person, with all the hours in the day they have.
They have all been living and breathing this product for months in San Fran whilst they did winter intake at YC and are now looking for a vitally important (and seriously rare) front-end engineer to join them.
They are looking for someone who can keep up with them so they can keep up with demand.
Why? Because they already feel like they are behind, and when you are in the race to keep your momentum and advantage, you need to move very quickly. Especially when you are working on frontier AI agent products and are the talk of the town.
Why do they need you? Well, they have a very healthy budget and a serious runway and sublime engineers already. What they don't have is time or the ability to clone themselves.
Why is the salary "name your price"? Simply put, the customers this company have on their waiting list are the customers that any B2B company in the world would sell their first born for a chance at landing.
Having the right front-end engineer onboard unlocks all of those currently unopened opportunities. The only thing holding them back is having enough of the right engineers with a similar mindset who understand the urgency.
Where do you come in? You guessed it, building and helping to build out their multimodal product suite that maps and creates walkthroughs, documents and has helpful agents for any SaaS product on earth.
