Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and expertise
- Lead and guide a unified service and engaged workforce
- Ensure high standards are in place, followed and improved within the Clinical Governance framework
- Utilise and supervise all nursing staff effectively
- Act as an expert resource on nursing care within the service and play a key role in the multidisciplinary team
- Maintain a positive and collaborative environment to help ward members reach their potential and deliver high-quality care, staff welfare and staff training
- Take charge of the ward in the Ward Manager’s absence

Dunnock View is a 42-bed service providing treatment for men and women who may have suffered trauma and are affected by Mental Health disorders. A trauma-informed care model focuses on length of stay to help individuals move quickly and safely to the most appropriate setting. Service users may have conditions such as Acute mental illness, Psychosis, Schizophrenia, Bipolar disorder, Personality Disorder, Dual diagnosis, Self-harm, or Substance misuse issues.
