Due to our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to play a leading role in the growth and management of our Design teams across our Blackburn and Glasgow offices.

Location Blackburn, London, Glasgow, Newcastle and Swansea offices.

About the role

You will play a vital role within the design function by producing calculations, drawings, and documentation that support the delivery of major projects in renewable energy, sustainability, power infrastructure, and power generation—contributing directly to the transition to net zero. In addition to receiving tailored support from experienced electrical engineers at all levels, you will follow a comprehensive development plan designed to promote internal progression through senior, principal, associate director, and director roles. This pathway also supports your journey toward chartered status while expanding your expertise across a diverse range of projects.

Key responsibilities

• InputtingintothepreparationofHAZOPstudies
• Carryingoutrelevantequipmentselectionforprojects

What you will need

• DemonstrableexperienceproducingelectricaldesignsforPowerGeneration,PowerTransmission,RenewableEnergy,BuildingServicesorsimilarequipment
• IdeallyeducatedtoatleastHNC/HNDlevelinElectricalEngineering,preferablytoDegreelevel

• ExperiencewithAmtechdesignsoftware(advantageous)
