Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist - Autism/LD

Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist - Autism/LD Across multiple school sites – Stoke on Trent. Contract Degree or equivalent qualification in Speech and Language Therapy. HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist. Experience working with children and young people with autism and/or learning disabilities. Deliver high-quality, evidence-based speech and language therapy services to children with LD and ASC in specialist education settings. Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised therapy plans in collaboration with school staff and families. Provide direct and indirect interventions, including group and 1:1 therapy, classroom strategies, and training for teaching staff. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) including teachers, occupational therapists, educational psychologists, and support staff. Contribute to and attend annual reviews, EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) meetings, and other relevant case conferences. Provide written reports and therapy programmes tailored to individual educational and communication needs.
