We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Consultant in Cardiology on either a Substantive or NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful Cardiology department.
Our client is one of the largest acute teaching Trusts in England, offering learning and development opportunities to help achieve your career goals. You will join the interventional cardiology team at the main site, comprising 6 full-time and 1 part-time consultants. The successful candidate with suitable experience will have the opportunity to join the TAVI team full-time to support an expansion aiming to increase procedural volume to over 220 cases per year. The team includes 4 interventional cardiologists, a cardiac surgeon, a full MDT, dedicated interventional trainees, and two nurse case managers.
The Trust offers a balance of city attractions, market towns, and villages within easy travel distance, with excellent transport links to Bournemouth, Bristol, and two international airports.
