What’s the mission for this role?

As the Kickers Product and Planning Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal productivity and availability of the Kickers range, which enables the brand to meet its sales and margin targets. Through effective analysis of historical trends and performance metrics, your insights and data-led approach will help to inform and shape the Kickers product strategy.

You will be a key cog working within a small but dynamic team; we are therefore looking for a real team player with a can-do attitude, to come and play a big role at an exciting time for the brand.

What does this role do?

As our Product and Planning Merchandiser, you will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for seasonal range planning, market and pricing strategies. Deliver optimal product availability across all distribution channels.
  • Performance analysis and insights: Analyse historical trends, performance metrics and provide insights for product strategy. After each season you will be responsible for conducting a lesson learnt analysis, to report back on how we performed against key KPIs.
  • Seasonal range planning: Plan SCO count for NPD and review carryover offer based on productivity. Create and own the seasonal line/range plan, managing that document and the relationship with the Master Data Management team.
  • Margin and productivity management: Monitor gross product margin, line adoption and overall productivity.
  • Demand & inventory management: Oversee demand planning, stock control, and inventory management to optimize across all channels.
  • Planning & allocation: Develop and manage product allocation to ensure optimal stock levels
  • Sales enablement: Develop and provide sales tools and customer-ready assortments to support the commercial team during sell-in
  • NOS and replenishment: Refine strategies for NOS and replenishment to ensure optimal ways of working with key customers.

What do I bring to the role?

You just might be our next superstar if you have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the footwear industry.
  • Extremely comfortable with data analysis.
  • Proficient on Microsoft Excel & Power BI.
  • Strong work ethic and can-do approach.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and manage your workload.
  • Adept at managing stakeholder expectations.

We want you to live our company principles, bringing a strong consumer focus, while always looking for ways to improve and grow in your role. Take ownership of your work and be proactive in solving problems whilst communicating openly and treating everyone with respect and kindness. And, of course, let your creativity shine by bringing your unique style and individuality to the Pentland Brands Team.

What’s in it for me?

  • Competitive salary + discretionary bonus
  • 25 Days Holiday: Increases with length of service and the option to purchase additional days to suit your needs.
  • Discounts: Brand discounts (including friends and family and JD Sports), Sample Sales, and other retail discounts and perks.
  • Family-Friendly Benefits: Generous enhanced parental leave policies
  • Health Perks: Choose from a variety of health-related perks including medical cash plan, critical illness cover, life assurance, gym and fitness discounts, dental insurance, eye care, and health screening to maintain your wellbeing.
  • Travel Perks: Take advantage of our season ticket loan, cycle to work schemes, electric car schemes, and discounts on home charging units to support eco-friendly commuting.
  • Flexible Working: We offer hybrid working and flexible working hours, allowing you to start your day earlier or later to help with commute costs or personal commitments.
  • Chance to join our Charity, D&I and Sustainability employee networks.

As an equal opportunity employer, we’re committed to fostering diversity and creating an inclusive culture across our business, stores, and office environment.

We warmly welcome your application.
