Job Summary - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract, Based in Manchester

Onsite Agile Project Manager to drive stakeholder engagement by facilitating infrastructure project discussions to define objectives, prioritize requirements, and ensure alignment with strategic EMEA infrastructure initiatives. Act as a key liaison between stakeholders, contractors / vendors and the delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Agile Planning and Execution: Strategically manage and oversee boards in Azure DevOps (ADO) & Freshservice by creating and maintaining Epics, Features, Tasks, User Stories, Escaped bugs and RAIDs. Ensure alignment with sprint goals, project priorities, and Agile principles.
  2. Progress Monitoring and Delivery Assurance along with Risk Management: Monitor the development lifecycle by tracking User Stories, proactively resolving blockers, and mitigating risks to ensure timely and efficient delivery of project milestones. Align project timelines with team capacity for smooth execution of EMEA infrastructure initiatives.
  3. Facilitation of Agile Ceremonies: Lead and actively facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, weekly PMO calls, retrospectives, and sprint reviews. Provide insights, enable team collaboration, and foster a culture of iterative improvement and adaptability.
  4. Provide weekly status updates to relevant stakeholders.
  5. Team Collaboration and Participation in Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remove impediments, enhance velocity, and ensure delivery aligns with stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Qualifications

  • Prince 2 & AGILE Practitioner or equivalent (e.g., APMQ, PMP, SCRUM Master)
  • Experience of working in a professional and structured manner in a commercial environment
  • Experience of working to complex administrative processes
  • Experience of supporting projects or managing small work packages
  • Experience of working as part of a team while retaining clear ownership of allocated activities
