Job Summary

Step into the role of Operations Director at Cool Motion and lead the charge in managing our daily vehicle rental operations.

Your mission? Boost operational efficiency, uphold stellar customer service, and fuel business growth.

You'll collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth operations and help shape the company's strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: Lead the operations team, including managers, fleet / logistics coordinators, and customer service team, to ensure everything runs like clockwork.
• Fleet Management: Oversee fleet maintenance and optimisation, ensuring all vehicles are up to regulatory standards and customer expectations.
• Budget Management: Craft and manage operational budgets, using resources wisely while maintaining quality service.
• Process Improvement: Spot and implement process enhancements to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, tackling any operational issues swiftly and professionally.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations meet industry regulations and safety standards, with regular audits and risk assessments.
• Strategic Planning: Play a key role in setting and achieving the company's strategic goals, focusing on market expansion and service improvement.
• Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge operational success and foster continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior operations role, ideally within the vehicle rental industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Deep understanding of fleet management and logistics.
• Knowledge of UK fleet and transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Strong financial skills and budget management experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
