HR Business Partner - International Brokerage

Are you an HR Business Partner who thrives in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment where you can genuinely influence the business?

Our client is a privately owned international brokerage business employing approximately 250 people across Europe, Asia and the Americas. Entrepreneurial, ambitious and continuing to grow, the organisation operates across multiple international markets, combining the pace of a growing business with the governance of a regulated environment.

Reporting directly to the Global HR Director, this is an opportunity to become the second most senior HR professional within the business, partnering with senior commercial leaders while helping shape the next stage of the organisation's growth.

This is far more than a traditional HR Business Partner role. You'll have genuine autonomy, international exposure and the opportunity to make a visible contribution to both the people strategy and the wider business.

The Opportunity

Working closely with senior managers across the business, you'll provide commercially focused HR support across the full employee lifecycle.

You'll coach and influence leaders on employee relations, organisational change, performance, talent, leadership development and workforce planning, becoming a trusted adviser to key stakeholders across multiple international locations.

Alongside business partnering, you'll also play an important role in developing the wider People agenda, supporting projects around organisational design, reward, HR technology, governance, policy development and continuous improvement.

About You

You'll already be operating as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager within a commercially focused organisation and enjoy balancing strategic partnering with a hands-on approach.

You'll be someone who enjoys building credibility with senior stakeholders, understands the commercial realities of running a business and can confidently challenge, coach and influence managers at all levels.

You'll ideally bring:

• Previous HR Business Partner or HR Manager experience.
• Strong generalist HR knowledge across the full employee lifecycle.
• Excellent employee relations experience.
• Experience partnering with senior commercial stakeholders.
• Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• A pragmatic, commercially minded approach.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience supporting organisational change and business growth.
• HR systems and process improvement experience.

We'd be particularly interested in speaking with HR professionals from:

• Other fast-paced international commercial organisations

Previous experience supporting an international business or working within a regulated environment would be advantageous but is not essential.

More important is your ability to build trusted relationships with commercially focused leaders in a business where pace, agility and sound judgement are valued.
