Job description

Are you passionate about supporting young adults with autism and learning disabilities? Do you want to work in an organisation rated 'Outstanding' by the CQC? Do you have relevant ABA and PBS experience? Are you a Registered Behaviour Technician?

We are currently recruiting for full time staff to work on established home and community-based programmes across London, including Brent, Haringey, and Camden. You will work as part of a team supporting young adults with primary diagnoses of autism and learning disabilities across North London with a focus on life skills and community participation. In order to be suitable for this position, you must already be a Registered Behaviour Technician [RBT] with at least 1.5 years of experience working in an ABA/PBS setting - this can include in a school, a centre, or within homes. Holding a clean UK drivers' license is highly desirable.

We are a 7 day a week service - successful candidates should be available to work across both weekdays and weekends. You should be prepared to work up until 9.15PM for some of your sessions. Yes, our RBTs and even our BCBAs work unsociable hours - it's when the support is needed!

Benefit highlights

  • Ongoing RBT clinical supervision - and UK-SBA equivalent once this has been announced.
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities - work through the BEAM competencies to advance into a Senior Behaviour Support Therapist role, get funding towards Masters in ABA, BTEC Diploma Practice Leadership in PBS, BTEC Level 5 Diploma in Practice Leadership in Reducing Restrictive Practice, and related courses.

  • Employee Assistance Programme provided to all staff, including cashback on dentist, optician, physiotherapy, plus access to counselling and psychotherapy.
  • Employment Assistance Programme - allows you to claim cashback wellbeing related benefits, such as spa and massage, and also gives you a wide range of discounts from local stores to technology companies such as Apple

You will be fully supervised and should be available to work some evenings and weekends. We require all Beam staff to adhere to our Code of Conduct.

Please note: We can offer visa sponsorship for candidates already living within the UK. We CANNOT sponsor overseas candidates at this time.

You must have availability to work across weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Experience supporting individuals with autism and learning disability in an ABA/PBS setting is essential for this role, as well as having the RBT credential or equivalent. Candidates without this experience will be automatically rejected for this role and/or directed to other openings within BEAM.
