GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are seeking a Computer Studies (CS) Teacher for fabulous school in Sheffield. We would like to hear from a knowledgeable, innovative, and enthusiastic educator who can deliver engaging lessons, develop pupils' computing skills, and inspire confidence in digital technologies, programming, and problem-solving.

The Computer Studies Teacher role provides the opportunity to prepare pupils for an increasingly digital world by delivering high-quality teaching that promotes computational thinking, creativity, and responsible use of technology.

Computer Studies Teacher Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Computer Studies lessons that meet curriculum requirements
• Teach programming, digital literacy, and computer science concepts using a range of teaching strategies
• Assess, monitor, and record pupils' progress to support their academic development
• Differentiate learning activities to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities
• Promote safe, responsible, and effective use of technology within the classroom
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning

Computer Studies Teacher Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
• Experience teaching Computer Studies in a school setting
• Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Commitment to delivering engaging and high-quality education
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
