Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only
Hours: 30 hours per week
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our welcoming primary school in Bradford. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to provide high-quality support for pupils, helping them to achieve their full potential in a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils in the classroom on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and learning activities.
- Encourage pupils' independence, confidence and social development.
- Support children with additional learning needs and help them access the curriculum.
- Monitor pupils' progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and nurturing learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, caring and flexible approach.
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
