SCOPE &
GENERAL PURPOSE
The Cluster Revenue Manager is
responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the revenue department
across a portfolio of Montcalm Collection hotels. This role ensures optimal
pricing, inventory management, and revenue maximisation across all properties
in the cluster. The Cluster Revenue Manager provides strategic guidance,
analyses booking trends, and coaches hotel-level teams to achieve revenue
targets while maintaining market competitiveness and brand positioning.
LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES

- Develop and implement cluster-wide pricing
and inventory strategies to maximise revenue.
- Lead, mentor, and coach hotel revenue
teams, commercial, and operational staff in revenue management best
practices.

- Monitor and analyse booking trends,
competitor activity, and market dynamics to inform strategic decisions.
- Forecast revenue, occupancy, ADR, and
RevPAR while ensuring alignment with budget and prior-year performance.

- Work closely with hotel teams, sales, and
e-commerce managers to align selling strategies and business mix.
- Present performance results, insights, and
recommendations to senior management and hotel leadership teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILIES

Manage day-to-day revenue operations for
assigned hotel portfolio.
·
Yield daily, weekly, and monthly hotel pricing
and ensure rate parity across distribution channels.
·
Provide strategic rate recommendations to
internal teams and external clients.
·
Manage extranets, load FIT allocations, and
handle group enquiries and quotes.
·
Optimise hotel inventory and control
overbooking levels to maximise room revenue.
·
Monitor and control distribution channels (GDS,
third-party internet companies) and rate returns.
·
Analyse promotional rate performance and
business mix to ensure optimal sales strategy.
·
Conduct year-to-date and monthly business
analysis, tracking occupancy, ADR, and room revenue.
·
Forecast daily, weekly, monthly, and annual
revenue while accounting for events and market conditions.
·
Design and maintain action plans for each
hotel, incentivising demand by segment and following up weekly.
·
Optimise total revenue and market positioning
for hotels under responsibility.
·
Analyse competitor pricing strategies and
adjust plans as needed.
·
Present monthly revenue results vs. targets and
budget at meetings.
·
Ensure alignment of business mix with
seasonality and market segment strategy.

SKILLS &
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management,
Business Administration, or a related field.
·
Minimum 5 years of experience in revenue
management, with at least 2 years in a multi-property or cluster role.

Extensive knowledge of luxury hotel operations
and market dynamics.
·
Proficiency in Opera (PMS), revenue management
systems (RMS), and channel management software.
·
Marriott Revenue Management System – One
Yield Certificate
·
Strong analytical and strategic decision-making
abilities.
·
Excellent communication, leadership, and
interpersonal skills.
·
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple
priorities, and meet deadlines.
· Previous Revenue Management experience within a
Marriott-branded hotel is essential. Candidates must demonstrate strong
knowledge of Marriott systems, standards, and commercial strategy.
