Location: Caerphilly

Are you a compassionate and reliable Support Worker looking for flexible agency work with a trusted care and support provider? We are currently recruiting experienced Support Workers to join our team in Caerphilly, supporting adults with a range of care and support needs across various settings.
This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference while enjoying the flexibility that agency work offers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, promoting wellbeing and reducing social isolation.
- Support individuals to maintain their independence by assisting with community access, appointments, and social activities.
- Safely assist with mobility and Moving & Handling tasks in accordance with care plans and best practice guidelines.
- Support individuals who may present with challenging behaviours, responding calmly, professionally, and appropriately.
- Encourage and empower service users to achieve their personal goals, maximise independence, and enhance their quality of life.
- Maintain accurate records and promptly report any concerns regarding health, wellbeing, or safeguarding.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
What We’re Looking For
- A minimum of 6 months’ UK-based care or support work experience.
- An All Wales Manual Handling Passport is desirable but not essential.
- A caring, patient, and professional approach to supporting vulnerable adults.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability, flexibility, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.
- Willingness to work a variety of shifts to meet service needs.
