We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Plumber to join a local authority’s repairs and maintenance team based in Barnsley. This role involves working on both void and occupied domestic properties.\n

\n We’re looking for a Plumber experienced in repairs and maintenance on domestic properties. You will be covering responsive repairs and this is a stable, full-time role ideal for someone with social housing or council experience.\n
\n
Duties Include:\n
\n \n

\n
• Carry out responsive repair of domestic plumbing systems, including pipework, fixtures, and fittings.
\n
• Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues such as leaks, blockages, low water pressure, and heating problems.
\n
• Repair domestic appliances connected to water supply
\n
• Carry out fault-finding and perform necessary corrective actions in line with safety regulations.
\n

\n This is a fantastic opportunity to secure sociable, full-time hours Monday to Friday. The hourly pay rate for this role is £18.95 Ltd (PAYE equivalent £16.26 inclusive of holiday).\n
\n
\n You will be working a standard 37-hour week, with potential for overtime. An immediate start is available.\n
\n
You will need:\n
\n \n

• Proven experience in Plumbing, ideally within social housing or council work
\n
• Your own basic hand tools and PPE
\n
• Full UK driving licence
\n
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing
