Join Our Client as a Business Administrator in Leyland!
\n Are you organised, detail-oriented, and ready to support a dedicated team within the public sector? Our client, a reputable organisation based in Leyland, is hiring a full-time temporary Business Administrator for an initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to vital administrative functions in a professional environment.
What you'll be doing:
\n * Organising, maintaining, and updating accurate records for your designated area
\n * Acting as the main contact for all communications within the team, prioritising and distributing messages efficiently
\n * Completing monitoring reports and inputting requisitions onto finance databases
\n * Coordinating awareness sessions and preparing paperwork for managerial checks
\n * Corresponding with stakeholders and agencies to ensure smooth information sharing
\n * Maintaining databases, filing systems, and logs, responding within agreed timescales
\n * Collating data related to Service Delivery Indicators (SDIs)
\n * Supporting meetings by organising agendas, taking minutes, and tracking action points
What you'll bring:
\n * Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
\n * Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
\n * Proficiency in maintaining databases and handling administrative tasks
\n * Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks efficiently
\n * Experience in coordinating meetings and preparing documentation
Additional information:
\n * Location: Leyland
\n * Working hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
\n * Pay rate: £12.86 per hour
\n * No line management responsibilities
\n * Role may involve contact with prisoners depending on the area of work
\n
Mandatory requirements:
\n * Successful HMPPS vetting (which can take approximately 6-8 weeks) before starting the role
