Day-to-day of the role :

• Plan and deliver engaging sports activities tailored to the needs of students with special educational needs.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate physical education with educational goals.
• Monitor and assess the progress of students in sports activities, adapting strategies as needed to suit individual needs.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages participation and the development of students' physical and social skills.
• Organise and participate in sports events and competitions, ensuring accessibility and enjoyment for all students.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a Sports Coach, preferably with experience in special educational needs settings.
• Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with diverse learning needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Relevant coaching certifications or qualifications in sports education.
• Commitment to professional development and staying updated with the latest coaching practices.
