PRESS BRAKE SETTER OPERATIVE - PERMANENT- NOTTINGHAM

We are currently recruiting for a Press Brake Operative/Setter for our client in Nottingham. This is a permanent, full-time position with an immediate start, offering a great opportunity to join a growing industry in an supportive environment.

Salary: £16-£19 per hour + £2.62 shift allowance (first 40 hours), Overtime available (Time and a Half / Double Time)
Shift: Sunday - Thursday or Monday - Friday Nights 22:00-06:00 (or flexible options)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Immediate Start

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• \n

  Set and operate Press Brake machines, ensuring accuracy and quality.

\n
• \n

  Read and interpret technical drawings to prepare and set up jobs.

\n
• \n

  Work with stainless steel, as well as other materials, on a variety of projects.

\n
• \n

  Perform bending operations, working to tight tolerances.

\n
• \n

  Carry out quality inspections throughout the production process to ensure standards are met.

\n
• \n

  Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.

\n

Requirements:

\n

\n
• \n

  Previous experience as a Press Brake Setter/Operative.

\n
• \n

  Experience with Trumpf or Amada Press Brake machines is advantageous.

\n
• \n

  Experience with Power Press is beneficial, but not essential.

\n
• \n

  Ability to work with various materials, particularly stainless steel, and work to tight tolerances.

\n
• \n

  Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards.

\n
