Job description
Job Role: Electrician Location: HMP Belmarsh SE28 Salary: £43, with an additional £3,000 per annum in allowances.
Additional 5% basic salary in recognition of shift and weekend working.Contract: Full Time / Perm (39 hours per week) We are seeking a dedicated fully qualified Electrician to join our team at HMP Belmarsh, a category A high security adult male prison.   • Certificate in BS7671:2018 (18th edition)
  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or Electrotechnical Services (City & Guilds/EAL), including relevant NVQs and competency assessments (AM2/AM2S). For example: 2367 or 2357.
  • Two years’ experience working in a role as a fully qualified electrician
  • Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems
  • Good working knowledge of planned and preventive maintenance operations
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge
  • Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
