Us

Crafted is a series of life-friendly hotels and spaces
where guests can be themselves and fill up on the good stuff: nature, food,
wellbeing, craft, people and play. We hope to open several hotels in the coming
years, with our first coming in summer 2025: Crafted at Powdermills, East
Sussex.

More specifics will follow as planning and pieces fall
into place. So, for now, here’s the sentiment behind Crafted…

We want service that feels easy, natural and confident
and that starts with our waiters. Whether it’s a pub lunch, a long dinner, or a
quick breakfast reset, this role is all about making people feel at home while
keeping things moving. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys pace, takes pride in
doing things properly, and genuinely likes looking after people.

That said, as a Head Host, your primary
responsibilities will be to:

· Deliver
smooth, confident service across the pub and restaurant

· Take
orders, run food and drinks, and support the guest journey from start to finish

· Support
the team by stepping in wherever needed — running, clearing, resetting

· Engage
with guests with warmth and ease, matching the mood of the space

· Communicate
clearly with chefs, runners and managers to keep things flowing

We’re looking for someone with:

· A
natural sense of pace, warmth and good humour

· Confidence
to learn on the job and ask questions

· Attention
to detail and pride in delivering great service

· Availability
for evenings, weekends and peak shifts

· A
collaborative approach — happy to muck in and help out across the team
