The Opportunity
As a HLTA, you will work closely with teachers and school staff to deliver high-quality learning experiences across the primary age range. You will support whole-class learning, lead small group and one-to-one interventions, and help ensure all pupils have the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Key Duties
- Support teachers with the planning and delivery of engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
- Lead targeted interventions for individuals and small groups to boost progress and attainment
- Provide tailored support for pupils with additional needs, including SEND and EAL learners
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Encourage pupils' social, emotional, and personal development
- Prepare classroom resources and assist with monitoring pupil progress
- Build effective relationships with staff, parents, and carers
- Contribute to the wider school community, including events and extracurricular activities
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or in a similar school-based role
- An HLTA qualification or equivalent experience (desirable)
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective classroom practices
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive, nurturing, and adaptable approach
- Proven behaviour management skills
- A commitment to inclusive education and supporting the individual needs of all learners
