\nPart-Time SEND Teacher (QTS) - Warwick\n

We are working with a school in Warwick who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Teacher (QTS) for a part-time teaching role in Warwick, working Mondays and Tuesdays.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher with experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We are also keen to hear from experienced Primary Teachers who have a strong background teaching Year 1 and Year 2, as many of the learners are working at this academic level.

Key Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
\n
• Support pupils with a range of additional needs to access learning and make progress
\n
• Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
\n
• Use effective behaviour management strategies to support pupil engagement
\n
• Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet varying abilities
\n
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team
\n
• Monitor and assess pupil progress
\n
• Ensure safeguarding procedures and school policies are followed at all times
\n

Person Specification\n

Essential:

\n

\n
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
\n
• Experience teaching within a UK school setting
\n
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
\n
• A patient, flexible, and resilient approach
\n
• Commitment to supporting pupils' educational and personal development
\n

\n

Desirable:

\n

\n
• Previous experience working within a SEND setting
\n
• Experience teaching Key Stage 1, particularly Year 1 and/or Year 2
\n
• Knowledge of adapting learning for pupils with additional needs
\n
