We are looking for a compassionate and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a specialist education setting in Bristol that supports children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs.
\nThis setting forms part of a well-established specialist provision that takes a highly personalised approach to education. With a strong focus on therapeutic support, wellbeing, and positive relationships, the school provides a safe and nurturing environment where pupils are encouraged to rebuild confidence, develop life skills, and achieve their individual goals. Staff work collaboratively to create meaningful opportunities for students who may have experienced challenges in mainstream education, ensuring every child feels valued, understood, and supported.
The Role\nAs an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom. You will help students engage with learning, manage their emotions, and develop positive relationships, while working closely with teachers and wider support staff to meet individual needs.
