A privately owned, cooperative urgent care veterinary clinic in London, Ontario is actively seeking 2-3 experienced Emergency/Urgent Care Veterinarians to join their growing team. \n

  • This opportunity has arisen due to ongoing plans to expand into a 24/7 operation, including a move to a larger facility in the fall.
    • \n
  • The clinic currently operates from Friday 6 p.m. to Monday 6 a.m., offering after-hours care to the local community.

\nWith an established reputation, experienced support staff, and strong collaborative ties with local GP clinics, this is a fantastic opportunity for a veterinarian ready to take on diverse and rewarding emergency caseloads.\n

  • 4 exam rooms + comfort room
    • \n
  • ICU treatment/lab area, open-concept treatment space
    • \n
  • Digital X-ray, ultrasound, surgical suite, and full in-house lab
    • \n
  • Onsite parking and nearby amenities (restaurants, public transit access, accommodations)
    • \n

The Role\n
\n
\n
    \n
  • Urgent/Emergency cases only - no routine appointments
    • \n
  • Triage-based "walk-in" model (10-20 cases per shift depending on acuity)
    • \n
  • 12-hour rotating shifts (day and overnight coverage required)
    • \n
  • Must be confident in managing emergencies independently
    • \n
\n
Key procedures: \n
\n
\n
    \n
  • C-sections, exploratory surgeries, unblocking cats, HGE, seizures, respiratory distress cases, etc.
    • \n
  • Open to new graduates only if exceptionally strong; must have full, unrestricted license to practice in Ontario
    • \n
  • Full license required
    • \n
