Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Salary Scale: £102 – £120 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a confident, adaptable, and motivated Cover Supervisor to work across secondary schools in York and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced teaching assistants, or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to build a rewarding career in education. You will play an important role in ensuring continuity of learning by supervising lessons during teacher absences.
About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee classes using pre-prepared lesson materials, ensuring students remain on task and engaged throughout the lesson. You will maintain a positive learning environment, manage classroom behaviour, and provide support to students while following the school's policies and procedures.
