Deputy Nursery Manager Location: Roehampton, Wandsworth, London Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum Job Type: Full Time Start Date: ASAP / September 2026 About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Deputy Nursery Manager to join a welcoming and supportive early years setting in Roehampton. The Deputy Nursery Manager will work closely with the Nursery Manager to support the effective day-to-day running of the setting, ensuring that children receive the highest standards of care, education and support in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced early years professional who is ready to take the next step in their leadership career and play a key role in supporting both children and staff. Key Responsibilities Support the Nursery Manager with the effective day-to-day operation of the nursery. Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, compliance and EYFS practice are maintained. Provide leadership, guidance and support to nursery staff, acting as a positive role model. Encourage staff development and promote a strong culture of teamwork and professional growth. Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive. Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and carers.
